The 2011 New Year may be the best yet for Hope for Healing.Org

The 2011 New Year may be the best one yet for Hope for Healing.Org. We have a lot more opportunities this year than ever before. Each one of the opportunities is a chance to bring hope and healing for yourself and for others.

Our Voices of Hope lineup is still being developed for the New Year. We'll be changing our time slot to 30 minute segments. It's been pointed out to us that this will allow listeners to burn multiple shows onto a single CD easier. Beginning in February we'll be doing just that.

It's hard to believe that Voices of Hope began in February 2009. Since then, we've been downloaded or listened to almost 70,000 times! Thanks for making us successful. We are the only internet radio show of our kind that's devoted to meeting the needs of survivors.

Join our birthday party on 2/1/2011 at 12:00 pm. Call into 718.506.1545 to listen to us broadcast live or point your browser to www.blogtalkradio.com/voicesofhope. We will be giving something away every few minutes. Who will the lucky people be? If you tune in, it could be you.

Our mission is to reach others with the positive reinforcement that it takes to heal from abuse. You can help. Be sure to tell others about the celebration. It's a good way to raise awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault and its effects.

Later in February we'll be participating in a health fair and more internet radio shows.

Things start gearing up in March as we prepare for Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. Look for more information to come.

There are lots of ways to get involved with Hope for Healing.Org. Blogging, participating in local events, spreading the good news that survivors can heal, helping with our newsletter and fundraising are just a few ways that you can get involved.

We need people who are willing to use Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon and other social media platforms to help us get the word out. Would you be on our RT team? Let us know.

Find our more by emailing us at countmein@hopeforhealing.org.
