Presenting at Breaking the Silence of Domestic Violence Clergy Training 10/13/09

It's been a long time in coming. Tomorrow our executive director will be speaking at the Clergy Gathering in Kingsport, TN. It's a mandatory clergy domestic violence training event for United Methodist Pastors of the Holston Conference. The conference area includes all of East Tennessee plus north Georgia, north Alabama, Western Virginia and a few churches in Kentucky.

Planning for the clergy domestic violence training event has been in the process for month. Representing Hope for Healing.Org will be Gayle Crabtree presenting Domestic Violence 101.

She will be presenting at the Clergy Gathering along with:

Bishop Swanson of the Holston Conference
Attorney Robin Kimbrough with the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence
Attorney Deban Yeomans of Legal Aid of East Tennessee
Rev. John Crabtree of the Holston Conference
Rev. Billy and Karla Kurtz of the Holston Conference
And other members of the Holston Conference Domestic Violence Task Force.

The clergy domestic violence training is set for Kingsport, Tennessee. The event starts at 10:00 am. See you there! (Be sure to look for our display. We'll have special conference pricing on both of our books!)
