Don't forget to Rock Purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Month on Friday, October 26, 2012. Participation is easy. Wear purple, put a teddy in purple, create a purple ribbon or armband and take a photo of it. Then, share the photo on your favorite social media site. That's all there is to it.
Did you know that some people don't know that Domestic Violence has its own awareness month? Some people are misinformed that it's April (actually Sexual Assault Awareness Month.) This year, let's work together. Rock purple on the last Friday in October. Use the official hastag #rockpurple4dv12 to let the world know that you're participating.
