Fundraising is a constant among nonprofits

Among nonprofit organizations fundraising is one thing that we each have in common. The economy is improving but it may take awhile to fully recover. To try to meet expenses, almost every charity to increase the number of fundraisers. Here at, Hope for Healing.Org we are fortunate to have online sponsors and a couple of monthly donors. Each one has helped us stay online, the phone turned on and our other bills covered. Lately, a few people have asked if we are going back to holding an annual Mardi Gras celebration. If we can recruit volunteers and sponsors the fundraiser is once again under consideration. In previous years we have relied on a combination of on-site and off-site preparation. It is my hope that we can use a Restaurant Supply for our next event. We have needed an array of Hospitaliy Supplies & Hotel Catering Supplies. Changing to a single supply should help us streamline the process. If our board of directors decides to pursue another Mardi Gras we may need some Restaurant Equipment to make the event work. What we need and how much will depend on the venue and ticket sales. A lot goes into this fundraiser. Volunteers are needed.
