For more information contact countmein@hopeforhealing.org or Hope for Victims. We are asking the public to help victims by bringing items to the collection points listed below.
Oct. 2
Time: 9:00am – 2:00 pm
Jacksboro United Methodist Church
For the 3rd year we will have a Domestic Violence Awareness Month display at the annual church bazaar. This event is well attended by the community and is an excellent opportunity to share our information. If you are in the area please stop by. If you are not in there area why not come?
Sat. Oct. 16
Time: 10:00am – 11:00am
Jacksboro United Methodist Church
Community Angel Food distribution
Outreach: Purple is the color for domestic violence awareness. This month we’ll be distributing purple ribbon domestic violence awareness cards. Pick them up at the information table and look for them in your Angel Food Box.
Sat. Oct. 23
Times: 10:00 am - ?
This is a partnership event. We’ll be meeting with Hope for Victims to sort all the great items you’ve donated for domestic violence awareness month. These will be delivered to local area programs the following week. If you aren’t collecting yet please do so. If you have time on your hands we’d love to see you. Keep watching this blog for dates.
