Presenting at the Etowah Ministerial Association

A thank you to the Etowah Ministerial Association for asking me to present today. It is always a privilege to do so, but even more so since April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Being educated about the realities of sexual assault is important for everyone, but especially for pastors who may one day be called upon to provide spiritual care for a victim or family.

It is critical for clergy to be familiar with resources before they are needed. The best defense is always a good offense. Thank you for taking time to come out and for inviting me in to speak. But, not only do I thank you, but so do the people that you serve.
