The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence is known for its many programs to victims of domestic violence. They are perhaps most known for the Remember My Name Poster Memorial Series. It began in 1994 as a way to memorialize those who have lost their lives because of domestic violence. It is a sobering reminder of the high cost of abuse.
These people didn't because of an incurable disease but because someone else decided to commit a crime. They deserve to be remembered.
