Gayle, I am a survivor of both domestic violence and breast cancer. The White House was lit up in pink lights to bring awareness to breast cancer. When will the white house light up in purple to bring awareness to domestic violence? There are more deaths due to domestic abuse than breast cancer. Thanks for finding a succinct way to bring attention to this disparity. And thanks to the Avon Foundation for funding both causes.
