Calling All Men is an outreach event by the United Methodist Men of the Holston Conference. It's the third year that they've had this phenomenal event and the third year that we've been invited to participate.
Domestic violence cannot be stopped without both men and women joining forces to face the problem head on. There is no reason to batter or emotionally manipulate another person. Victims deserve the help they need to be safe and to heal.
Men's groups are important in the fight against domestic violence. We appreciate the opportunity to display at the conference again this year.
Calling All Men takes place in the Cokesbury Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Be sure to look for our domestic violence awareness display in the missions area. We have free awareness cards and posters. Pick some up to take back to your church.
