Hope Quilt to Display at Colonial Heights UMC Kingsport, TN

As part of the upcoming Clergy Gathering of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church the Hope Quilt will be on display at Colonial Heights UMC in Kingsport.

The Hope Quilt is made up entirely of squares that have been created by victims of sexual or domestic violence. Each part of the Hope Quilt is as unique as the survivors are themselves. The messages are of rape recovery, healing and encouragement.

The Clergy Gathering begins at 10:00 am. The Hope Quilt will be on display at our booth. When you stop by be sure to pick up information about domestic violence and sexual assault. This is offered as part of our activities for October's Domestic Violence Awareness Month. There will be plenty of information and bags for clergy will be available.

A book signing will take place at the end of the Clergy Gathering. The books Does God Still Love Me and Secondhand Hope will both be available at our booth.

Contact if your church or group would like to display The Hope Quilt or host a book signing. These are perfect activities for Domestic Violence Awareness Month and a great way to spread the message of hope and healing to survivors of sexual or domestic violence.
