Our executive direction will be speaking at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church tonight at 6:30 pm. A covered dish dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. The public is invited.
She will be presenting about the organiztion, the work we do and how you can be invoved with the program. Currently we have several volunteer positions open. These include moderating our forums, checking the website for broken links and suggesting replacements, guest blogging, newsletter development, internet radio show, coordinating, scheduling and local volunteers for outreach, juvenile offenders, fundraising and events.
None of the volunteer opportunities require a large time commitment. Training will be provided for all positions. There is a lot to be done. Extra hands are always welcome.
