Why not donate part of your tax refund to a crisis center; Speakout 2011

Nonprofits everywhere have been hard hit by the economy. Perhaps none have been harder hit than sexual assault crisis centers. When the economy tanks the demand for services goes up and donations go down.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Crisis centers don't receive grant money for sodas or bottled water for a victim, gasoline to get to court or other odds and ends. If you are getting a tax refund why not consider giving a few dollars to a local crisis center or to Hope for Healing.Org? Even $5 - $10 is enough to help make a big difference in the life of a survivor.

Another way that you can help is to join our SpeakOut 2011. Raise awareness by posting the following update to any social media sites that you know and love. Can you think of an easier way to get the word out? We can't. Here's hoping that you'll help us with this status update.
