Today is Sexual Assault Awareness Month Action Day. It has been organized by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center as a day to focus on preventing sexual violence.

Respect Works!
This year, the focus is on sexual violence in the workplace.

Statistics were gathered from 1993-1999 on sexual violence in the workplace. During these years, over 36,000 women were raped or sexually assaulted while on the job. Workplace sexual violence is not uncommon and should be stopped.
