Angel Food Ministries materials have arrived! We need volunteers!

At long last, our Angel Food Ministry materials have arrived! Our first distribution date is August 26. Volunteers are needed to help.

This is the program to help you stretch your food dollars. Boxes are $25 each and are paid in advance. They are designed to assist a family of 4 for a week or a senior citizen for most of a month. The products are brand name. It's an excellent value! (Food not picked up that morning will be given to people in need.)

We need volunteers who can help carry boxes to cars. This may be hard for some - especially senior citizens. We need people to greet, direct traffic, check orders, fill boxes, meet and unload the truck and serve as general "go-fors". If you drive a pick-up truck we especially would like to talk with you.

The food is distributed only one Saturday morning a month. We're only asking for a few hours. Can you help? Email me at gayle@hopeforhealing.org or call us in Strawberry Plains today.

PS A big thank you to our yard sale helpers. We appreciate your help in getting signs made and put up and items priced. See you at 6:30a.m.! The sale begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.
